About the Role
Position Summary:
The Behavior Technician works directly with children to implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a BCBA or Program Supervisor. This role focuses on helping children build communication, social, academic, and daily living skills while promoting positive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
*Implement ABA therapy sessions according to individualized treatment plans
*Collect and record data on child progress and behaviors
*Follow guidance and feedback from the supervising BCBA or Program Supervisor
*Support skill development in communication, socialization, self-help, and behavior management
*Maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging therapy environment
*Communicate effectively with team members and families as directed
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Pass a background check
